Moved into apartment in April 2010, started noticing a few bites, but thought the cat had fleas so we treated and treated for that. It was getting worse so I had called an exterminator to check out the situation. They had to treat three times before the bugs were gone (I hope, as they can live a long time without eating). Found out later the building manager had them as well but nobody was notified. I've been vigilant with cleaning, laundering, and steam mopping to keep them away as well. Miser
