Bedbugs can stay dormant for up to18 months...
the only way to exterminate is by properly treating the problem and it takes more then once to kill them.
i woke up this morning with red patches on my right arm.
i have expensive antique furniture.. i really hope this red spots are not bedbugs..

Lots of mice and roaches in this building and I heard rumours of bedbugs on the second floor. Management will call the "mouse guy" to set traps, but that's about it. It's an old building and there is a black mold problem in some suites, too.

Obviously an upset tenant... I live there - it's all good. :)

925 Bute street has a bedbug and rodent problem even though I was assured the building did not have one. There were mouse traps hidden in the laundry room beside and behind the machines. I saw a bedbug in the laundry room early in the summer of 2011. I had a rash under my hair and red pimples started showing up on my hands and legs. As tenants moved out they would leave their furniture in the lobby or on the landing of each floor. This happened many times. Sofas are simply left on whichever flo
or the tenant moves from. I lived on the second floor and noticed a high turnover (Apartments 14, 15, 16). After I moved my rash and red pimple like bumps went away. I think the bugs hide I the walls & ceilings behind the large pieces of peeling paint. I saw dark apple seed looking bugs on my blanket.
