Tenants of BURNABY HEIGHTS LTD , know your rights. It is apparent on the comments that Nader is unprofessional in his approach.

Put all your request in writing and give him date he needs to respond to your requests.

He is obviously abusing his power as a manager.

Every person have the right to be respected and Nader don't have the privilege to call his tenants "asshole".

To prospective renters think twice before signing. An agreement with burnaby heights ltd through Nader.


Crazy landlord. He used to be the manager to 355 Holdom Avenue as well (Regal Manors Ltd). This manager is an idiot and knows nothing. Most rude and disgusting manager. He fights and shouts at his tenants. Since he became manager, many people left that building he was managing. I don't know why the owners of the building do nothing about this moron?


Nader is a joker. His English is horrible and he doesn't know how to respectfully talk to people. The landlady before him was far better unfortunately she has moved. Nader is rude and drinks alcohol all the time in his apartment. The company hiring him needs to get rid of him. Nader treats everybody like crap.


Robert MacDonald, once again. Here it is two days later, the 26 of April, really scratching all the bites from being in suite 314..4191 Albert St. the other day for as short a time as possible. Nader Pourbazyar, you can tell the SELKIRK the people that employ you that I will never let up on this issue. Robert MacDonald here again just to update my interaction with this building as of yesterday, April 24,2012. I was only in this suite very, very briefly and last night, this morning, and today, I am scratching myself like a monkey on crack. Still though, this Nader, insists that there is no bedbugs in this suite (314) or for that matter in the building, HA!!!!!!, you NADER are a LIAR, this infestation was there before I moved in, in March, and is still prevelant today.

Today is april 22, 2012 and once again my Name is Robert John MacDonald because of this ongoing BEDBUG problem as I have previously stated that was ongoing before I moved in on or around May 1, 2012. Well this whole contentious issue is costing me a lot of money, not only in moving costs but, also in the loss of furnature. ie; Bedroom suite, mattresses dresser etc. etc. etc. Anything that can potentially have BEDBUG related issues is lost to me because I cannot take the chance of bringing these

things with me.There shoul be redress for all this monetary losses but I know there will not be. There is such a thing as KARMA and hopefully you, NADER POURBAZYAR will burn in hell for your underhanded scummy ways. Rest assured that you NADER POURBAZYAR and the company you work for, SELKIRK HOLDINGS, will be hearing about this till you realize that I want financial redress not only for material loses, but also personal injury for putting my health in jeopardy. I have been in contact with a employee name Colleen in the Provincial Pesticide department. Tel.# 604-582-5355. I was informed that this bedbug situation was an ongoing situation before I moved in that I was not made aware of. That being the case and that is also a matter of record with this branch o

f the provincial govt. would tell me that my so called tenancy agreement is null and void. When these people lying what I can do? I can see all anonymous people writing because they are lying for different reasons that doesn't related to bed bugs in this building. this building had bed bugs, not now. what you thinking we don't rent place to any one because we had bed bugs. We don't have bed bugs in our rental units anymore this is guranty.


Tuesday December 18, just moved into this building 1 1/2 months ago and found bed bugs in my Apt. I only decided to check after I saw a notice posted up in the building lobby by another concerned resident informing us of their presence in this building and the lack of management to deal with the situation honestly.
WARNING TO EVERYONE WHO RENTS FROM A BUILDING THAT IS MANAGED BY THIS LANDLORD..... do your own investigations and learn your rights from the b.c. tenancy board and do not let him

intimidate you, if he does he is subject to a fine for harassment... check the tenancy act for more details...

Hi everyone. Almost got a bachelor suite in this building. Thoughtless of me... didnt check it for bed bugs. Of course I asked manager and he said "NO". Later on I find three reports, latest one in January 2011. I am freaked out - moving in in 2 weeks! So I call the manager and ask him again if there were issues with bedbugs. He says "NO" again and that there were buggies but 2 years ago and they got rid of them. I sort of calmed down but decided to check with tenants. So I go

back to the apartment building and the first tenant I meet tells me they are still experiencing problems with bedbugs and that they bite him almost every night...
The decision was made right away. Too bad I paid damage deposit... don`t know if I get it back. Too good I found out about everything before I moved in. Otherwise bye-bye furnature and peace for another month or two.

We have been living in this building for over 2 years . We became aware of the "bed bug" infestation shortly after we moved in when my room mate showed me bites on her upper arm . Then we started to spot the ugly critters in the wee hours on the bed. When we alerted the landlord of the building about the situation he yelled at us and said we brought the bugs with us and if we did not like it to move and then proceeded to call us liars. We talked to 2 neighbors and one of them said he had lived

here for many years and that he was constantly battling "bugs". We have treated the infestation 4 x
now and alls it takes is for someone who hasn't treated their suite to pick up a pregnant bug on their shoe to walk through the lobby and for me to bring it home. I have seen matresses
and other pieces of furniture out by the dumpster with notes on them reading " Do not pick up Bed Bugs ".
Honestly up until a few years ago I thought bed bugs were part of a childhood rhyme not a global infestation.

Unit 314 has an infestation. Landlord has paid for fumigation but told tenant to "keep it on the downlow".


July 2009- Apartment #107 was fumigated twice for bedbugs, with no signs of further infestation.

However, there are at least two other tenants n this building wh have had similar infestations.

The landlord refuses to reimburse me for the fumigation, and proceeded to get mad at me for not using his preferred company for fumigation. I believe this was due to him trying to cover up the problem, and he has not registered the address on this site.
