7/31/2012: I booked one of my out of town employees at this hotel for a 3 week stay. After a few days he complained of a strange "rash". After going to the pharmacy, the pharmacist asked him what hotel he was staying at. When my employee told him the Vermont Inn, the pharmacist told him that they were having a bed bug issue. My employee asked the front desk about it and they admitted that it was/had been a problem. They did offer to put him in another room but they didn't have any avaialb
My boyfriend has been living here for about a year and a half with nothing but good things to say about the place. $545/utilizes included not bad for a struggling artist.
I've been staying with him off and on for about a week at a time while I look for my own place and woke up yesterday covered in tell-tale rows of bites.
I caught one WALKING ACROSS THE BED TODAY, JUST THIS MOMENT. I will update once the management gets back to us.

The Vermont Inn does month to month rentals. I lived there for a few months in the spring of 2007. The place is absolutely and totally infested with lice. After being there about a month I became aware of the horrible situation and it was easy to see that most of the other residents of the place were horribly infested. You could see the massive amounts of nits in their hair.
The hotel changes everyone's sheets and blankets weekly and this was a way that they spread the infestation eve
I had an absolutely terrible experience here and it took months to rid myself of the horrible problem created by staying at this filthy (and by no means cheap) location.
