Found 3 reports:

Stayed one night on 4th floor. in morning saw blood streaks on sheets and when looked more closely saw tiny red bugs crawling around on sheets an pillows. when touched with tissue they popped with blood. Took photo with phone. I did not see any adult bugs; from reading these were the nymphs that turn red when eat your blood. I immediately showered, packed up and went to desk. Clerk said nothing she could do since I paid Hotwire but I waited to manager who quickly refunded my money. I apprec

iate his quick agreement to make this right financially but have a completely new view about staying in hotels. these can be anywhere. I will check every room I stay in future and will follow some of the tips about luggage & clothes storage, etc.

Mid Summer Morning Nightmare, 2011:

-duration of stay: (3) rooms for 3 nights, on the morning of the last day we found 2 bedbugs in one of the rooms on the 3rd floor.

-woke up in morning with a bloodstain on the sheets by the pillow area. after inspection found a squashed half dead bedbug still half extended with dried/moist blood on it.

-checked other bed and found a live bedbug. this one was small and spider like. at first it looked like its leg portion was bigger than its body. but

after inspection we could see that it actually had a sack of blood attached to the legs.

-hotel would not create an incident report. we felt strongly the were already aware of the issue.

-hotel said they would have an exterminator look at it and send us the report, as you would expect we have not recieved any report

-did credit us one night, for 1 of the 3 rooms

-however, hotel had nothing to offer about us bringing the bedbugs with us via our luggage etc. to our next destination (hotel for two nights, then home)

-hotel manager actually argued with my wife about creating a report

-also our son got shocked by a broken lamp while there, they did write up an incident report.....story continues......
