We stayed here on 7/10. Before we even unpack anywhere we stay, we inspect the room carefully (pull off bedding, etc.). Room and beds appeared fine. A few days later my son developed numerous bites on his arms & back which later became inflamed welts. Took him to pedi upon return home & were told they looked like bb bites. We also stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Greensboro, NC while we were away. Since the bites appeared soon after staying at Microtel, he may have gotten them there.

Stayed here on 6/21, had 3 rooms rented. Saw small black bugs crawling on one bed, pulled blanket and sheets back to reveal small brownish yellow bugs. Informed the front desk (Jeremy) who was apologetic and quick to move our room down the hall and after checking our old room confirmed he saw SEVERAL.We got what sleep we could and at check out politely inquired if there was going to be compensation for our room. We were told by the woman up front that no bugs were found and that we should c
ontact Erich Benedict the GM. After calling not only was he rude he tried to tell me they were gnats. I'm more disgusted at his ignorance than I am at the fact my family had to spend one night in this place.

Stayed there on 12/30. Came home with bites on my abdomen. Didn't see them until the luggage came in the house -- ugh!
