I stayed at this hotel in room 122 on the nights of December 13 and 14, 2014. By the time I returned home in the evening on December 14 my arms were covered in bed bug bites, more than 50 bites on my right arm alone, in addition I had bites on my back and legs. I immediately called the 800 number for Red Roof Inn and was told to call the hotel. I called the hotel and while the employee I spoke with was polite he simply continued to repeat during our conversation "there is nothing I can do for
you." I called Red Roof Inn Guest Relations on Monday morning to report the bed bugs. I then received an email from the Director of Franchise Relations stating this hotel is independently owned and there is nothing Red Roof Inn Corporate will do about the situation and that I should once again contact the hotel directly. This is hardly a satisfactory response.

On 8/22/2013 I checked in later in the evening at hotel. I was moving the pillows and found a bed bug. I took it to the front office and they offered to move me to the room next door. I declined and changed hotels.
The next day I was at an event in town and found out that someone else at the event had been given the same room the day before and that they had reported bed bugs and they had moved her to an upstairs room. I contacted the hotel both locally and corporately and they said they
had removed the soft goods and treated the room, ( I assume themselves and not by a professional exterminator since they sent me an email that stated only "someone" had performed the inspection and treatment). I was then given that room the next day.
Subsequently the next night the people in the room across the hall also found bed bugs and left the hotel.
