On Thanksgiving night, 11-28-13, we stayed in room #304. At 3am my daughter threw up in bed. We stripped the sheets and found a large bed bug crawling across the plastic mattress cover. We alerted the front desk immediately and moved our four children to a different floor in the middle of the night. We spent the rest of the night awake doing laundry, attempting to prevent contamination since our luggage was near the bed for several hours. The general manager was "on vacation", and the front

desk person reported to us that when he contacted her she said she could not refund our money, but could give us a "free voucher" for another time. No apology, no refund, and we did not even get to speak with her. She did reimburse money we spent doing laundry in the hotel laundry room. We finally had our money refunded after I contacted Hotels.com, with whom we made the reservation. The lack of response from management made this awful situation that much worse.
