When traveling through the area, my wife and I stopped at this location on 8/7/2012. The room looked clean and everything seemed to be ok. Upon getting up in the morning my wife noticed a spot of blood on the sheet by her shoulder and upon further investigation, she found one dead bug and 3 live ones in the pillow case's. We captured the live ones and placed them in a cup, brought them to the front desk and showed them to the clerk and some people from house cleaning were there and the reaction
told me everything. The clerk refunded the nights lodging fee without hesitation. Which leaves me to think this wasn't the first time this has happen. I looked on line and they were the young bed bugs and I brought the dead one back to my home and verified that it was a bed bug.SO the rest of the trip was one bag in and when leaving one bag out and sealed. Keep everything off the floors.PS. she had several bite marks on her shoulder and back.

On march 13, 2012, I found a bug on my pillow that appeared to be a bed bug. It appeared dead but I smushed it and put it in a bag and took it to the class I was taking. The next day another girl came to class, sat her bag down and 2 bugs came crawling out. We took them to the front desk and advised them. They sent a company Called Eco Lab to my room the next day and said they didn't find anything. I'm not sure what they did to my classmate, but they changed her room. As she was packing t
o switch rooms, she found another. Everyone who looked at the dead ones said they were bed bugs. The manager called me and said I could change rooms, however there were only smoking rooms left. My other option was to switch hotels and my options were the sleep inn or another best western in a worse part of town. I elected to stay as my whole class was at the hotel and I didn't have a car. I was told someone was coming to " treat" the rooms , which were 410 and 409. My room was " treated" initially by the Maintaince man who went to Walmart, bought who knows what and sprayed the "pesticide" in a spray bottle all over my room. It left a white residue and smelled bad. I called best western corporate but was told the hotel had to handle the problem, as each is independently owned and operated.

I was looking for phone behind bed, I pulled out the mattress and saw 6-8 little bugs scurry away. I took pictures and compared them to online pictures of bedbugs. It is definitely full-grown bed bugs. Upon looking, both beds in room were infested with eggs and bugs.
