I spent one night at the Sawmill Creek Hotel. When I woke up the next moring I noticed the sheets had spots on them. My sister and I were in town for a funeral, we both commented on how the room didn't feel clean.
By 6PM that evening I noticed welts forming on my face, wrist and back. A doctor told me I had been bitten by bed bugs! I called the hotel to report this and the response was that they would tell housekeeping. I asked a manager to call me back but no one did. I called again,
it took 4 hours for them to call back. Their solution to the problem was to offer me a free room at their hotel.
Are they kidding. I would never return to Sawmill Creek. I have been extremely uncomfortable all week, have had to buy creams and take medication so I can sleep, walk around with welts on my face and arms and don't know if I potentially brought bugs home with me.
Caution…..check your bed before accepting a room at this hotel.

I found bugs on one my blanket which in my opinion appeared to be a bedbug. I reported it to the front desk and the they sent me to a different room. I checked the mattress and noticed blood in the upper right hand of the mattress and reported it once again. I was moved again. They upgraded me. This is a very serious problem!
