Woke up with painful bites all over my arms after my second night in this hotel. I thought it was an allergic reaction of some kind so I went to the doctor immediately from the airport. Sure enough, she confirmed that it was bed bug bites. I called the hotel and they are investigating.

Arrived three nights ago at Four Points Sheraton
326 W 40th St NY NY without a mark on my body. My legs have about 12 bites since I have been here. Keep scratching my neck too. Can't be anything but bedbugs.

We were checked in one of the Starwood Preferred rooms. As soon as I climbed onto the bed and removed the blanket, saw a tiny little bed bug crawling on the pillow. Flushed it down the toilet and will report to management.

To address this growing problem, Starwood mandates an aggressive pest control policy, which includes regularly scheduled professional inspections and, if necessary, elimination protocols. We have also implemented a thorough training program for our housekeeping and maintenance personnel to assist in the early recognition of infestation. These standard procedures require that the room in which you stayed be quarantined and that it remain quarantined until a thorough inspection by professionals
can be conducted. I want to assure you that we have fully implemented the policy and protocols here at the Four Points by Sheraton Midtown Times Square. Please feel free to contact me regarding a full report of the room in which you stayed in. 212-967-8585

Booked the room for three nights, and fell into the tremendously soft and alarmingly deep bed sheets and mattress covers on the first night, May 24, only to be awakened by numerous itching bites on my backside and upper thighs. Checked sheets thoroughly for traces but no sign.
