The second day of my stay at the Gem hotel, I woke up with 3 bites on my right neck. The following morning, about 6 - 8 more. I was also getting horrible allergic reaction to whatever that bit me. On the third day, I got bites on legs and my buttock as well, and the allergic reaction was so bad I had to go to an ER. I had a follow up doctor's appointment the second turn when I returned home. The doctor confirmed they were bug bites but he cold not tell what bugs. 11/8/2012 - I came out of the shower to get dress and saw the bed bug crawling from under the mounds of pillow. I recorded the critter crawling around and I killed it. I brought it to the front desk to management. My room rate was discounted from $242 for the night to $199 (free would have been the appropriate move). The manager called house keeping and engineering to check it out.
