I am a Marriott Platinum member (until now!) and checked into the hotel Monday night, then checked out Tuesday morning, and noticed small red spots. Didnt think anything of it until later on in the day. I called Tuesday night to report my bites which were EVERYWHERE across my neck, arms and legs. The night manager told me I was probably allergic to the fabric softener and he would have Eric the day manager call me in the morning. He couldn't check the room #321 because he had other guests in

there!!! They didn't check until THURSDAY morning. And of course the day manager told me, yes, there were bedbugs found by his engineer. They gave me ZERO precautions or instructions on how to deal with the bedbugs.

The general manager told me that he would have his claims department call me that morning. As of 4pm I had to call the claims department and Eric had not reported anything to them so they could not process my claim. I have oozing sores which I was prescribed steriods for (and which will take 2 days to begin to feel better, and a WEEK + to heal. He offered me 100,000 points to make it up for me. Yet he didn't report the claim. What?!?!

I KNOW that the Marriott trains their employees to handle bedbug complaints and at least give SOME precautions or instructions, yet I have been ignored because the claims department cannot do anything until Eric reports the claim.
