Management, Golden Eagle Lodge Resort on 09/09/2013
Please note with respect to the incident reported on 1/12/2013 - The guest reported back to the lodge one week following departure. Immediately upon notice, an inspection by a professional pest control company of said unit was performed and it was determined and confirmed that there were no bed bugs. The Lodge requested a medical report but one was not made available. The guest did confirm verbally that their son did not in fact have bed bug bites.
With respect to the the incident reported
on June 17th 2013, be advised that the Golden Eagle Lodge to date has not received notice of same from this guest. Our cleaning department inspects bedding and is well trained to signs of bed bugs, if they were to occur. NONE HAVE BEEN FOUND NOR CONFIRMED TO DATE.
WE ARE PLEASED TO SHARE WITH ALL OUR GUESTS THAT THE GOLDE EAGLE LODGE RESORT IN WATERVILLE VALLEY NEW HAMPSHIRE HAS NEVER HAD AN INCIDENT OF BED BUGS.

We stayed at the Lodge on the 14-16 of June for the Laconia bike week and the second day I noticed some rash on my legs I didn't make a big deal out of it till today I notices there was more in my legs this is not a rash this marks are bed bugs bites... You might want to have the rooms inspected as this is a big issue!!! Especially there was a previous report in January of bed bugs!!!

Was visiting the golden eagle lodge last weekend. January 4-6 2013 for a hockey tournament with our son. We were in room 424. Upon returning home my son was complaining of an itchy back. After examining his back he had several marks on his back.
We visited his pediatrician with a confirmed diagnosis of bed bug bites.
Made a call to the lodge and spoke to the manager Holly to report the problem and all I got was we will check it out. Sorry this happened etc. Very unprofessional.
