My husband and I stayed in room 311 and had only been there 2 hours when I noticed a small bug crawling across the bed. I smashed it, didn't look at it too closely and tried to disregard it since the doors open to the outside, but not 5 minutes later I pick up my phone and there was another one underneath it! I immediately stripped the bed and found evidence of bed bugs! I had already captured the second one so I took it downstairs and before I could even show the manager she said, "We don't
have bed bugs!" I showed her and she tried to tell me it was a bug from the river. I live on a river in TN! Besides, I'm a Medical Lab Scientist...I know what they look like! She told me, "It's a beetle." So instead of fighting with her about it I told her I'd like my money back because we were going across the street to the Hampton. She then told me we'd be charged a cleaning fee for the room. Do not go to the Quality Inn in North Platte, NE!

I encountered bed bugs during a stay on Thursday, January 6th 2011.
I called the Hotel after I went to the Doctor.
A manager was to call me in a couple of days. No response so far.
