Upon my stay in Raleigh North in North Carolina , I was seriously attacked by bed bugs, I talked with the manager (Amy) who was very rude and seemed unconcerned with the injuries I showed her that I received. she said she could give me a refund and no other rooms were available . I am seeking medical attention and will be reporting this incident to the North Carolina department of health. I have also been advised to seek legal council for the pain suffering I have endured. I took pictures and vi
deo taped the bed bugs in my bed and I also showed them to the night clerk when I discovered them. I always use best western when I travel but this is the worst experience I have ever had. I some how felt that your manager (Amy) lacked enough compassion and understanding and virtually blew me off and checked me out into the street. if anyone here is concerned I have video and pictures of the bugs as well as the injuries I received. I was treated very badly and endured pain , injury and stress as a result of my visit to best western Raleigh North in North Carolina room 241.

I stayed for one night on Valentine's Day. I woke up to bug bites on my arms.

I stayed in this hotel for one night in Mid May 2013 due to a work seminar. I woke up that next morning itching and little bite marks on my shoulders but didn't know @ the time they were due to bed bugs which I in turn must have given one a ride home with me... Which now, I'm battling them @ home. Not Happy!

Due to a reservations issue at another are hotel we were in need of a room for 1 night. Area hotels were full due to a national softball tournament in the area. We found a room here for the night needed. The ground floor room was a bit musty smelling and the carpet was quite dated and stained. Since it was only a 1 night stay and our normal Raleigh area hotels were full we kept the room. Big mistake! My wife awoke the next morning covered in bites. We were curiuos as to what they were and resear
ch revealed she had been bitten by bed bugs. The itchiness and tell tale "meal tracks" pattern of the bites confirmed this was definitely bed bugs. We travel extensvely and are Silver, Gold, and Platinum members of so many Hotel chains I can't keep up with it all but never in all my years of traveling have I or we encountered this.
I am contacting the hotel to advise them of the issue. We decontaminated all our clothing and luggage to prevent infestation in our home.
