October 15th, 2012 I inspected the bed before I unpacked and it appeared fine, but the next day I was severly itchy with welts. Upon a more thorough mattress inspection I found one small area at the head of the bed on the vertical side of the mattress that I missed the night before. Also saw a little critter move. They moved me to a different room, which was free of bedbugs.
