Follow up: I posted the bed bug report on the corporate web site and they have since taken it down.

I was in bed on April 15th 2014, while he was work on the computer in Room 106. He posted the previous post. While he was at the front desk showing them the bed bug I squashed (full of blood), I looked further and found and took pics of 2 bed bugs on the box spring. The mattress looked fairly new but the box spring did not match it and was beat looking. Two days later I developed 3 large bites on my left arm. I guess that blood was mine.
We stayed here following my surgery for breast cancer
on February 17, 2012. At the time I was not aware of this site until my niece who stayed on the same floor, informed us that there had been several reports in 2011 of bed bugs here.Sure enough it was on this website, several reports of bed bug(now since removed). I asked the front desk if that was true and she replied that yes they had a problem previously and this is why the rooms had been remodeled and all new carpets, furniture and bedding had been replaced following professional pesticide treatment.
I have since notified customer service at Holiday Inn's corporate headquarters of our stay and the General Manager's treatment of us. The customer service rep acknowledged that this has been an ongoing problem at this hotel and that my picture of the box spring indicates they did not replace all bedding as the were directed to do in 2011-2012.
Obviously, this hotel is a bed bug hot spot that the owners have not treated properly.

This is a follow up from April 15th stay at this Hotel. I just received an email from Scott Johnson who is the Rooms Division Manager and said that the pest company found no evidence of bed bugs. Now keep in mind that at 11:30 pm is when I found the bug crawling on my pillow. At that point I captured the bug with a kleenex and squashed it and it was very bloody. I took this down to the front desk. I also took a picture of another one on the mattress. I was so mad when I got the email that I call
ed the General manager who is Steve Carter and he stopped short of saying that I planted the bed bug there and that they could not match the picture that I have to the mattress. Basicaly they are not going to do any thing about this. So do not stay in this hotel as they are not serious about managing this problem. What I should have done was to bring the front desk clerk down to physically show them the bug and take a picture of them both so they could not say it was from their hotel. This is not the first time they had a report. RUN RUN RUN from this location.

On April 15 2014 I found a bed bug on my pillow. I told the front desk and they paid for my room at another chain. When I went back to the room I lifted up the sheets and looked at the box spring and they were crawling on it. They never replaced it from last time they had them. I have pictures of them.
