Previously posted about my experience a couple of weeks ago. I have since talked to Drury management and customer service. They take this thing seriously. Turns out they have a protocol they follow. They immediately took the room out of service along with rooms on either side, above, and below. They inspect and treat the room with superheated air. Inspect again all around. Turns out no hotel is immune. The same week, the Hyatt in Wichita had a bedbug report too. I stayed again at the Dru
ry and it was a bedbug free experience.

Woke up this morning and saw something crawling across the bed after lifting the sheet I saw the bedbug. I killed it and then noticed another crawling away on the pillow I was sleeping on. I caught that one and showed it to the front desk and checked out. They didn't even do anything to adjust the bill.
I have stayed there many times and it is a nice hotel, but if they have a problem with bedbugs, I'm not going back. I had been staying there for several weeks in a row when returning to
Wichita, but I guess I need a new place to stay without bedbugs.
