I stayed at the New Albany, IN Hampton Inn a few days ago. Hampton Inns have a great reputation, however, this location is awful. I am not sure how the brand allows this "branch" to continue to use the Hampton Inn label. It is very poorly taken care of and after a night of staying in this hotel, I have bites on one side of my body. (The side I sleep on) the report I read before mine was from 2012... It is 2014.. They still haven't done anything about the bed bugs I'm guessing. To be quite honest
, I am sure the staff doesn't really care enough.

I have a friend that works at this hotel and has seen first hand the many rooms that have bed bugs. The management has treated these rooms with rubbing alcohol & a sprayer...not professionally treated....they continue to rent these rooms to unsuspecting customers....they are in the seams of the mattress, behind the backboard, the lamp fixture on the wall & the night stands....this has been going on for over a year starting around June 2011 to current.....still have mutliple rooms infested with b
ed bugs! This hotel at times charges $500 per night (Derby time) knowing that the bed bugs are there. Only 2 hotels in New Albany and this is disgusting!
