Room 205 on 11/26/2012
We are having a nightmare with bed bugs at our house. My family and I stayed at Holiday Express in O'Fallon, IL for 3 nights. We stayed on the weekend of November 1, 2012 to November 4, 2012 in room 205. Sometime after 2 - 3am, I came across a bug one night without much thought, I crushed it and didn't mention it to the staff. Now I realize how much of a mistake that was. th baby sleeps in a separate room and she hasn't been showing any sign of bite marks, yet. I had Orkin coming into our home for bed bug treatment and I have notified Holiday Inn Express right away of our issue. And now Holiday Inn wants to meet me at half way on our Orkin invoice. Even after admitting bed bugs were found in the exact room we had stay. What a horrible company and what a horrible way to treat a customer, after all that was said from Holiday Inn Express manager.
I want Holiday Inn Express to do the right thing and fully reimbursement our family for all of our troubles. This ordeal is causing my wife and I much stress and emotion disturbance. To anyone that is reading this review, please do some homework and know what bed bugs are and how they look. I hope to keep you all posted of our result from Holiday Inn Express at O'Fallon.
Lastly, please think twice before booking your next travel stay at any Holiday Inn Express. They are terrible at satisfying a guest even if I am one of the little guys.
