On 6/16/13 was in this beautiful hotel. Went to crawl into bed and saw bug....after only 2 mins of looking found bugs alongside jacuzzi tub and near floor boards. Talked to Manager and he dismissed it saying he was sure it was a flower beetle but he did not look at my pictures of the bug that look nothing like a flower beetle. The bugs I saw were brown, long and thin much like an adult bedbug

new hotel room! By morning, I did notice that there was also an indication of bed bugs in the other bed also - although, I might have "traveled" with it on me when I got out of my bed. The front desk was very courteous and attentive to our concerns. Wehave staye at the Ameristar many times before and will stay there again. The hotel is always immaculate, the service wonderful and bed bugs can be found anywhere! We will however, check the beds before we agree to stay in any particular room.
