Had stayed at this location for 13 winters. Had never been exposed to bugs. After about 10 days my wife developed a rash. Not knowing what it was , she quit going to the pool thinking it was that. It persisted and we went to a clinic. They gave us no hint and a prescription. That helped, but she got new spots. We changed the bedding weekly and had noted nothing on the sheets, but had seen a couple insects on the bed spread. We had the door open during the day and being from the north we just fi

gured they came in from outside. On 2/20 after changing the sheets she noted many bugs on the seam of the bedspread. We took it to laundry and the came to the room with management who immediately told us we brought them in and that we needed to wash all. Our clothing. She left and we were not sure exactly what was going to happen, so I went to the office and asked some questions. We would get another room and that we could be charged for the cleanup of the room which could be $1000.00. I said she would have trouble collecting that as they were there when we came. Her answer was why don't you just get out. We had 3 hours to vacate with no apology or refund. We never saw any sign of pest control during our stay. We are worried about bugs throughout and all our friends needless to say we will never go back there . We may not ever go back to Panama City Beach. This was not Southern Hospitality! Management is terrible. We are retired couple 74 and from Minnesota.
