My family stayed at Wyndham Orlando Resort on October 20, 2012 for an overnight, then we moved to another hotel. I wore the jeans that was hanging on a chair. I did not get to wear the jeans until we return home on October 24th. While I was on the plane, my knee started to itch really bad. It became bothersome. No one else in my family reacted to the itch. Today, October 27th, I found a 'C' shaped of bites on my knee, a straight line of bites on my butt, numerous of bites on my wrists, wais

t, stomach, and chest. So I had this investigated and learned that the Wyndham has a history of bed bugs. I had my house cleaned, I still have not locate the bed bugs - I sure do hope the bugs did not fly with us home!

Stayed the night of the 24th in room 1628, building 16. The next morning saw cockroaches run under the bed. The night of the 25th, pulled the sheets down to get ready for bed and found a small, fat, brown bug with a little head. Took a picture. Grabbed a tissue to get it and it popped spilling blood out onto the tissue. Complained to the front desk, I never saw a desk clerk move so fast to get me another key and get me out of the lobby and into another room. This room in build ing

13 seems better.

We checked into the hotel (Room 544) on Saturday 7/23/2011. The room was booked via priceline. The room looked rather "crummy". The remote control was not working properly, nor were the phones. The first night I had trouble sleeping due to "community" the Washer and Dryer placed directly in front of our room door. When my 9 year old son and I woke in the morning, we noticed that we had numerous bites on our arms and face. I thought it was due to mosquitos. However, that evening we counted the nu

mber of bites we had. The following morning we woke up with even more bites. I decided to pull back the sheets and check the beds. I found a tiny bedbug, it was transparent but I could see the blood it had sucked out of us. I killed the bed bug in the sheet and began taking photographs, my fiance immediately called the front desk who sent a security officer to give us triple anti-biotic ointment and a report for me to fill out. To make matters even worse, the bites on my finger got irritated and infected and my finger was extremely swollen. I had to go to the Emergency Department at Dr. Philips Hospital to have my engagement ring removed by a doctor. All this time we were attempting to reach a Manager, but were told "it was a process". Our room was changed to 1247 which was not much better than 544. The Manager has yet to speak to us. Trust me this is not the end of this battle. They will be hearing from us again in order to receive compensation. I would highly recommend staying far away from this place.

We stayed at the resort on February 6/11 and we were in room 1188 in building number 5, after our third night I had awaken to at least 35 bites on my body. I immediately called the front desk, it was 6 am, and they sent someone to investigate at 8 ish. We found 2 critters in the bed and put them in a baggie to give to the manager. The Maintenance Manager said he found no clues of the bed bugs. We went out for the day and they had to get a dog to the unit who confirmed they were there. Originall

y they moved us to unit 1288 in bldg.5. after many complaints ans mishaps by their staff, I had talked to the Manager face to face who then moved us to the Presidential Suite for the rest of our stay.

12/30/10 room 512. My 19 year old son woke with 46 bug bite on his arms, wrists and legs. Reported it to the front desk. They took a report, moved us to a new room and told us their engineer had found no sign of bed bugs. They comped us one nights stay. We bagged all of our belongings, will be throwing out suitcases and washing everything in hot water. What a nightmare!

Stayed in building 8 at this hotel in Aug 2010. Everything seemed fine, but bites showed up on both of us at the same time a few days after we'd gotten home. I read that sometimes it takes up to 9 days for bites to show, so by the time we realized what it was we had unpacked stuff all over the house. Disgusting! Bites all over. I've called the hotel and they have yet to have the 'right person' get back to me. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We stayed at this hotel in late December '09. My 19 month old son had bites all over his legs and abdomen. My husband and I had bites as well.
To make matters worse, it seems as though we brought some home with us and now 2 exterminations later and we cant get rid of them.

Stayed at the Wyndham Resort Orlando Nov 28th and 29th...switched to a different room after the first night because we felt the first did not look like it had been cleaned. We stayed again on December 4th and woke up with about 20-30 bites on each leg. 4 out of 5 of us have bites. We searched the web sites and our bites look and are describe exactly as what is stated. REALLY makes me want to travel again!! YUK! This is consdiered a nice resort too!
