Stayed in May 2015 with the kids in adjoining rooms. Eldest son was bit badly. Disappointed in Loews' response. Yes, it is a beautiful hotel, but all that beauty fades away when you are left with marks and scars from the numerous bites and having to throw out the luggage and clothes for fear of bringing something back into my house. Lowes said they would give me a copy of the Pest Report, but then refused stating that their contractor found no bed bug activity. I'd like to see just what that rep

ort said for myself.

We stayed there Dec 24, 2013 through Jan 4, 2014 and my husband and I were both contaminated and infected with bed bugs. We are beyond horrified.

We stay there every three months and it is a beautiful place. It is worth every penny we spend each time we visit. It is sad people say things that are just not true! As a gold member my husband and I suggest you visit their website and take a look at the hotel. It is one of the most beautiful places in florida.

I did not stay at the Loews, so I cannot personally say either way, but I saw this video about that hotel on youtube, it is definitely worth looking at- and deciding for yourself.

I stayed at this hotel in March and had bedbugs appear in my room. The hotel did switch rooms and pay for my medical bills, however, that was it. Do not expect any apologies, or for that matter even a free drink for your troubles. I will say that a representative did call my new room to tell me, “The hotel had gone at their expense to clean my former room and disinfect it.” I guess that’s nice that they did it at their expense.
