Our tramatizing stay at the Days Inn Hotel in Orlando,Fl started on Saturday July 14, 2012 when we checked in. The following day my husband woke up with a rash on his back and arm. Thinking it was a rash we didn't think anything of it and continued with our vacation. That Monday July 17,2012 at around 5:30am my husband wakes me up and tells me to look at the marks all over his body when we checked the beds they were covered in bed bugs. We immediately went to the main office only to find a staf
f member telling us that the only thing she can do is move us to another room. I stated that we didn't want another room what we wanted is to speak to a manager. She told us there was no one we could speak to at the moment and that the manager would be in at 7am we waited in the lobby and around 7:15am when we ask where the manager was they told us that he would be in at 9am or 10am. Like around 7:30am the manager called and spoke to the employee and she told us that the only thing they would do is refund our stay. He didn't even have the courtesy of speaking with us and apologize on the hotels behalf. I left my phone number so they can give us a call and I still haven't heard from them. Since than we spent money on washing all of our clothes, doctors, treatments for the bits, dog beds, we had to leave luggages behind and most of all our piece of mind has been taken along with a day lost from our vacation. The hotel has done nothing to rectify this situation.
