Driving from Cleveland to Cape Canaveral stopped at this Hampton in Jacksonville at 12:30am on September 8, 2011. (Drove 14 hrs.) The room was located on the 2nd floor, I pulled the sheets down (like I always do when I stay at any hotel!) and there were 3 adult bedbugs and several nymphs!!
I notified the night manager of the findings. She offered me room on another floor. I explained that I really was not confortable staying in any room at this hotel. She gave me my money back for the ro

I ended up going across the street to a Holiday Inn Express. By then it was 2:00am!! Needless to say It was quite difficult to sleep after the bedbug encounter!
I called the daytime manager of the Hampton at 8:30am. What a waste of time that was! I have video and pictures of the bedbugs and nymphs at this hotel.
All I can say is, people beware and look closely before you get into a bed at any hotel!!
