Experience of bedbug bites in Loews Madison Hotel on 06/28/2013
Here is a follow-up note that I sent to the hotel, but did not receive any response.
Dear Hotel Representative,
I stayed in your hotel for 2 nights (June 19-20, room 1405) for the CIRS meeting. After the second night, I noticed a number of bug bites on my hands and forearms. I notified the front deck upon checking out (showed her those bug bites), but want to send you this follow-up note to make sure that the hotel management takes appropriate actions to clean up the room, so that other
guests do not have to experience my sufferings and irritations (see pictures).
Frankly, that is the worst experience that I ever had in any hotel stays. I will send a note to the meeting organizer as well to see whether any other colleagues had similar experiences.

I was here in March 2010 and there were bedbugs crawling on the bed and I alerted management as I was leaving for my meeting. Brought one down to the front desk to show them! When I got back to the hotel, I inquired, and they said they "investigated" and saw none. When I got back to my room, there were 3 crawling in the bathroom.
I got a survey when I got home and was honest on the survey. The hotel ignored my complaints and did not even check the room, despite the fact that I brought act
ual crawling bed bugs to the front desk. The offered me a room "upgrade" for the next time I'm in town. Um, no thanks. I am staying elsewhere.
