This was back in fall of 2005. I didn't know why I was icthy all over (I thought it was an allergic reactions to oysters or something), then another women in the hostel room showed me what bit her. I freaked out and changed rooms. The other seemed to be ok, but the bites kept showing up over the next couple of days. I even went to the hospital when I got home because I have a pretty severe reaction to insect bites. I had 200 bites, it was horrible! I tried to get the hostel to pay for the medical bills and my stay there, but no such luck...The situation may be better bow, but I wouldn't take a chance...
