DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place has the worst bed bug infestation I have ever seen. I saw them crawling all over the bed. The owners of this place scam you once you pay you don't get a refund. PACIFIC SANDS SHOULD BE CLOSED BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!

I stayed at this hotel a couple of months ago. It is infested with bed bugs. I left in the middle of the night. Management refused to give a refund. I reported them to the health department. The bugs are not the only issue. The place is disgustingly dirty and unsafe. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not even if all other places are sold out. Go wherever you have to go except the Pacific Sands.

My sister and I stayed at the Pacific Sands for two nights. The first night we noticed little spot of blood on the sheets but didn't really think too much about it. The second morning, I woke up and noticed tiny specks moving around on the sheets. I called the hotel manager and she denied that they had bed bugs and that the rooms were fumigated regularly. She refused to come to the room or give us a refund.

I stayed at the Pacific Sands Motel for only 1 night and it was beyond horrific! It is the WORST motel I have EVER stayed at. I woke up covered in bites from head to toe. I was bitten on my face, neck, chest, arms, hands, back, legs and feet. It was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I now have scars all over my body that I can't get rid of. I was an employee at this place, and just to let everyone who is reading this, the Farzam family who owns this hotel do not care about fixing anything, there are money hunger savages like the the bed bugs that eats at you on there beds, this is a true statement.

I stayed at this motel in March 2008 and experienced a horrendous attack by many bed bugs. This has been reported by many different people on tripadvisor.com as well as to the LA health department.

I am the owner of the Pacific Sands Motel in Santa Monica, CA, and would like to dispute the claim for guest stay in March and July of 2007. Although we did have a bedbug problem in the stated room at that time, we have since eradicated the problem with our pest control company (along with changing matress/boxspring, using matress/boxspring covers, etc) and have had no further complaints. I would like this review written in 2007 removed.

I stayed here one night in July 2008. I think it was room 101 (around the corner from manager's office--NW corner of the building, close to the sidewalk and I Cugini restaurant). It is actually a 2-bedroom suite. My friend, sleeping in the main room, was bitten alive and seemed to suffer an allergic reaction for several days after. I sustained only one bite. Checked in on March 22nd. Found bedbugs crawling all over the bed in room 1. Acccording to various reviews, management has known of the infestation for sometime and still knowingly rents the rooms without warning. They are not helpful when the bugs are reported.
