I stayed for one night (12/17/2014) at the Days Inn in Redwood City and sustained about 20 bites on my arms, hands and neck over just 1-2 hours after going to sleep. And the only reason I likely didn't get any more bites was because I started developing an allergic reaction and got up after finding I was covered in hives. I had an encounter with bedbugs before and this time I saw 3 of the bugs on the bed, so I have little doubt that bedbugs were the culprit. The management was apologetic and swi
tched me to another room but later when I submitted a review to Expedia detailing what happened, the hotel+Expedia censored it (Expedia explicitly telling me that Days Inn refused my review) so don't believe the positive/bedbug-less reviews on Expedia!

On June 11, 2012 we had an employee check in to this hotel and received massive bites all over from bed bugs. He went to a local physician and they confirmed the bites were from bed bugs. When he returned to the hotel to check out and spoke to the supposed "owner" they did absoulutely nothing and refused any documentation that the hotel had bed bugs. The place is extremely dirty and no surprise the beds have bugs.
