We were very surprised to discover these two reports. Both were posted in on the same day on this site about bed bugs at our hotel. The guest in question had reported this issue to us while staying here and we were unable to confirm the findings. The room has been thoroughly inspected and we are glad to report that the bed bug epidemic has not reached us yet. Just as everyone in the hotel industry; we are very concerned about this problem and have trained our staff to be on the look out to avoid
this becoming an issue for our guest.

We found bed bugs in room 342 Thursday, November 4th 2010. We reported it to the hotel and they merely offered to change rooms for us. We now have to go through all of our belongings and separate and bag them before returning home to Seattle.

I found one bed bug (95% sure), crawling on my arm tonight 11/04/2010 at @8:45pm. I have not noticed any bites. I have been in this room for 4 nights now. This is the first encounter with any creatures. The housekeeping staff told my wife and I that it may have come in through the window. The front desk staff seemed clueless as to how to deal with this kind of situation. They offered to move us rooms which seems pointless at this time since they may already be in our personal belongings or they
may be in any other room in the hotel.
My room is on the 3rd floor.
The staff here have been as helpful and professional as possible.
Other than the one bug I have found no other evidence of an infestation.
