Put up in Atrium Hotel by United Airlines due to weather related rescheduling on December 28, 2015. Spoke with
General Manager Steve Hostetter when I began to itch from numerous bed bug bites. I identified Room 177 and his attitude was very hostile, stating that they have their rooms checked for bed bugs and would call me back immediately which he did not.. I tried to reach him for 3 days following the incident finally leaving the information with a receptionist. He called back and again wa
s very hostile telling me I had been bitten at Hotel Irvine where I stayed from Dec. 24, until Dec. 28. I am certain that I was not bitten at Hotel Irvine having stayed 4 nights prior with no such bites. When I got home I was covered with the bites necessitating calling my doctor for advice of how to treat them, having clothing cleaned, and contracting an exterminator in case some were inside my luggage. He badgered me as to when I began to itch and did not behave in a professional manner. The health department and United Airlines have been notified.

Found bed bugs in second story room. Both beds infected. Too late to wake children. Sleeping with lights on. Have not noticed the bugs coming out. My daughter needs her sleep for competition tomorrow, do not want to move her this late.
I will talk with management in the morning. Hope they do right by me, since this hotel was recommended by the compition organizer.
