The hotel is now called Best Western View Lake Powell. We checked in on Friday Aug. 10 in room 328. I woke up itching in several places around 1:00am. I got suspicious and started to look for bedbugs. We quickly found one in each of the two queen beds, one on my pillow and the other on the sheets in the middle of the other bed. I am extremely allergic to bedbug bites so I know how to identify them. I immediately took an antihistamine and used cortizone cream on all bites. We packed up our thing
s, put the two bugs in a Ziplock bag and went to the reception desk. We showed the bugs to the attendant who did not appear very surprised. Unfortunately for us, all hotels in town were completely booked and we had to drive 70 miles north to Kanab, AZ to find another room. When I called back the next day to make sure that we would not be charged for the night, the manager refused to do so arguing that the cleaning staff had not found any bedbugs in our room. The manager offered a discount instead. Very aggravating! I got 11 bites in total.

Just checking the beds as I always do after we check into a hotel. Found excrement of bugs and finally a bedbug on the mattress. Left ASAP. The hotel gave us a full refund. Acted as if this had not been a problem for them but now I see reports on this site that tell me it has been an issue.

On 3-15-2012 my company put me into this hotel. I had reports of bed bugs in the hotel so I searched my room and found a bunch behind the bed. The staff said they would relocate me to another room without bed bugs. When I got into this room I once again searched and found more bed bugs. I got the impression the whole time that the staff new of the problem and were hoping I wouldn't find anymore in the other room.

Heard several rumors about bed bugs and have been checking ever since. Checked in last night 9-17-11 and sure enough I found traces of them, continued to search and found some bed bugs. Went to front desk and had my room changed. The employes vere very helpful but wish they could get rid of them. Room 203 and 306 have bed bugs, not sure about any others but be careful.

We were on a road trip and stoped at Arizona Inn in Page. At 2 am, my husband woke up as something was itching on his neck. When we turned on the light the bed was full of bedbugs. We had to find another room and move in during the night. The next morning we had dozen of bedbugs bites and had to consult a doctor as there were getting bigger.
This ruined our trip and we still remember this. Since then, we take care when we have to spend a night in a hotel.
Hopefully, we didn't bring back some b
ugs at home.
