Checked in Tuesday May 27th 2014 to room #239 while awaiting repairs on my truck. Next morning woke up with red blotches in small groups over legs, arms, stomach. Thought mosquito bites. That night woke up felt like things crawling on me, squashed several bugs on me that I thought were fleas. By the next morning was covered with more bites and had blood on sheets. Several dead squished whitish and browning bugs on bed. Checked out the 30th. I didn't know at time what I had were bedbugs. Ended
up with them in my suitcases, clothes and bedding I had brought them from the hotel to my commercial vehicle sleeper and home. Now my truck and home will have to be professionally treated at great expense due to the massive infestation at this motel. Called the hotel a week later to let them know about the bedbugs. I WAS INFORMED THEY KNEW ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND THEY HAD TERMINIX COME IN THE 31ST TO TREAT THE ROOM I WAS IN AND THE CONNECTING/ADJOINING ROOMS THAT WERE INFECTED. THEY KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM AND PUT PEOPLE IN THOSE ROOMS THEN DIDN'T CONTACT PEOPLE TO LET THEM KNOW THEY WERE EXPOSED. NOW MY WORK TRUCK AND HOME ARE INFESTED AND ALL THEY CAN SAY IS THEY'RE SORRY????? It's expensive to have a company treat this issue and to do a home can cost up to and over a thousand dollars! But they are sorry and that should cover everything!! I would advise everyone to avoid that hotel until they can certify they are bedbug free. Economy does not mean I get what I pay for and now we have to suffer with this. Next time I will definitely check the room and bedding and will never stay in that hotel again.
